Go Away, Belly!
This morning I walked 4 miles in one hour and ten seconds. I was shooting for 15-minute miles and I'm happy with my time. Darn those ten seconds. The official 3-Day training guide says to shoot for 20-minute miles. That's probably what the pace will be like at the actual event, but that's really slow. I just want to get the training walk over with! Plus, I'm tired of waiting for all this walking to make my belly smaller. Maybe I've been walking too slow. That's gotta be it. I better pick up the pace. Get the heart pumping. Get in some good cardio. The size of my gut has nothing to do with the cake. Or the cookies. Or the ice cream. Right.
